Our Advice & Recommendations
The Village of Oak Creek has several fantastic spots for shopping and dining. Being Sedona, none of these options are particularly cheap but we'd only recommend places where the cost is worth it. Of course, Sedona proper has countless great food and shopping options that we won't get into here. Some of our Oak Creek favorites within minutes of our home include:
Clark's Market & Pharmacy is the town's main grocery store. It is a very nice store with robust dry good, produce, meats, deli, frozen foods, and beverage selections at rasonable prices. They also have a pharmacy inside. Clark's is less than a 5min walk from our home.
NA Healthcare is Sedona's only 24/7 emergency care department. They are located about 25min away in west Sedona.
If you need non-emergency urgent care, there is a NextCare in West Sedona. Unfortunately, they are only open 8am-6pm M-F.
If Clark's doesn't have what you need, there is a CVS (and Walgreens) in West Sedona about 20min away.
COLT Grill is hands down the best local spot for BBQ. Their smoked turkey club/wrap, "Filly" cheesesteak, and thoroughbred salad are all spectacular. Having said that, their breakfast menu is to die for and very reasonably priced.
Cucina Rustica is a fine dining option only open for dinner. It is a bit pricy but is incredibly delicious. Their gnocchi is incredible! This is a perfect special date night restaurant.
Oak Creek Espresso is a cute coffee shop that offers delicious coffee and baked goods. It's one of the larger coffee spots in the area with a well lit and welcoming interior to chat or work.
Firecreek Coffee is another great coffee spot. They have a cozy indoor seating area but their pattio seating offers great views of Bell Rock!
Gourmet burgers and sides; Butterfly offers a delicious and somewhat upscale/fancy burger experience. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic.
Big Park Bakery has delicious coffee drinks as well as an amazing selection of top-notch baked goods every morning. They make their own coffee syrups and they are amazingly good.
Rocky Rd Ice Cream is a cute little boutique ice cream shop offering fantastic hand-crafted small batch ice cream and sorbet. They don't have the largest selection but what they do have is amazingly good.
Sedona Juice Co. offers delicious healthy smoothies, juices, and bowls. While not the cheapest sweet treat option, their selection is fantastic and delicious and (mostly) healthy.
RedRock Cafe is a great breakfast/lunch option for Southwest flavors in a cafe-style setting. A little pricy, yet the food is very good and the service is even better.
Tortas de Fuego is a good spot for big-portion Mexican food and margaritas! They have a huge menu and great happy hour specials.
Another fantastic Southwest-inspired breakfast and lunch option! They have an amazing menu and it's all delicious.
Jesse Lee's Craft Beer Market is a great little place to find specialty craft beers and wine from around the world.
